Rescued from the Edge of Death at Christmas, a Puppy Pulled from the Depths of Despair by a Compassionate Woman
Unfortunately, the fate of many street dogs is highly uncertain. It breaks our hearts to imagine that not only loneliness but also the most deplorable conditions await them, without a single soul stopping to help.
This was the heartbreaking scene encountered by Pía, a compassionate soul living in Argentina, when on Christmas Eve, she saw this puppy under a bridge, on the brink of death.
She spotted him roaming near a friend’s house in Buenos Aires, with a severe case of mange so chronic it immediately evoked repulsion. As a result, no one ever approached him… except Pía!
The poor dog was evidently sick and covered in sores, simply waiting for his days to end. But Pía, an animal lover, knew she had to act. She immediately took him to the vet, but the prognosis was grim.
However, she wasn’t willing to give up, and neither was he, logically. She stayed by his side physically for the next 48 hours, unaware of the miracle she would soon witness.
“He fought with me, I also got up and cried and was by his side. So we did it together actually. And one day suddenly he stood up abruptly and started walking, he got tired quickly, but the results were seen. And yes, truthfully, I cried, cried like a fool,” recounts Pía.
Incredibly, in just 10 days, a beautiful and shiny coat grew on him, and soon both of them witnessed a true miracle:
From there, his rescuer recounts that everything was good for Hercules. His transformation wrought by his incredible fighting spirit, but above all by Pía’s infinite love, is something not seen every day.
Currently, Hercules shares the most beautiful adventures with his adoptive mom, from whom he never separates. You can see more of his daily life on his Instagram account @Herculesysubanda.
This is how Hercules celebrated his last Christmas… He looks unrecognizable; the miracles of love are truly impressive! If your eyes have filled with tears, don’t hesitate to share this story with your friends to show the world that great things can still be expected from humanity.
