Heartbroken Frida was abandoned, and now she urgently needs help from dog lovers everywhere
When Frida was found on the 2nd of July, in Caserta, Italy, she was in very poor condition. Rope marks suggested she had been chained, then left behind.
When Frida was found roaming the hillside alone, a caring samaritan could tell she needed help.
The poor pup showed signs of mistreatment, including a mark on her neck.
A helping hand
Thankfully, rescue group Randagi nel Cuore SMAV didn’t hesitate to step in, finding her a temporary foster placement with a loving family.
Sadly, as is often the case, Frida’s foster is not a forever home, and the kind people caring for her cannot keep her indefinitely.
Frida’s greatest wish
Associazione Code Ribelli recently shared her story to their Facebook page, explaining the dire predicament the rescue finds themselves in.
Frida will have to move imminently, but with three dogs in paid foster already, they aren’t able to cover the cost of another. The alternatives are an adoption, an unpaid foster, or sponsors, to help cover the cost of a paid placement. If none of these options work out, Frida may face going into kennels, which the team are desperately trying to avoid
Frida is the sweetest, most affectionate girl, and despite her difficult past, she hasn’t lost her trust in people. She now needs dog lovers everywhere to share her story. Hopefully she will soon be settled in a loving, forever home of her very own.
